We have decided to take this time to try to be as normal (whatever that is) as we can. These days we are reflecting back on why we fell in love with each other. Laughter and open communication has led for us to become best friends. And music had absolutely nothing to do with it. Writing and making music has been nonstop around here but we put every musical equipment away for now and trying to turn our musical home into a normal home.

We’ve worked nonstop throughout our entire marriage. We are very selfless people but I think we’ve earned this time to just focus on us and our family.

A Quick Story

To entertain myself I’ve been watching 90 day fiance….🤔
Reality just sat in that Eric and I were ONLY friends at first. We really enjoyed each other just by communicating over the phone. There was a video chat app called Tango. I had to prepare to go into work by 3:30am every morning back then. Eric would keep me on the phone every night and we would fall asleep on video chat. He became my alarm clock and started my day with his charming voice and by blowing me a kiss. Throughout the day he would call and I would have butterflies in my stomach. Okay, okay enough of that. 🤣
Within 30 days he asked me to marry him😳, and 39 days after that we said I DO😍. I was NEVER his girlfriend. 🤦🏽‍♀️ That’s a total of 69 days and now we’ll be celebrating 8 yrs of marriage in a few months. It wasn’t easy at all BUT GOD.
I now feel that it was a reason we did it so quickly. If we had waited then we definitely wouldn’t be together and NEVER would’ve known chains could be broken just by us being together and allowing GOD to perform miracles. Two people will bring their own loads into a marriage. No one is perfect. But it’s up to you to decide who is worth overcoming obstacles with. We took a chance on love instead of listening to the negativity around us and I’m so glad that we did. ❤️
That’s OUR story and I just got butterflies all over again. 🥰
